We had a wonderful time at McKenzie's beach house! The views are so gorgeous and peaceful, the photos don't do it justice. They were very responsive and all of our needs were taken care of. 10/10 would visit again!

This place was simply amazing with the incredible sunsets over the sound. The home was exactly what we imagined with the photos and descriptions. Beach just a little walk away. The best hosts with very quick responses on just a few questions we had. We will definitely be returning for future family getaways.

This home is beyond anything we could have wished for. The amenities that this property offers and the completely unobstructed view of a perfect sunrise and sunset was priceless!!!! The water front is beyond what you see in the photos if you are going to OBX STAY HERE!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We booked a last-minute trip to Mckenzie's sound-side cottage, and we are so glad we did. Mckenzie was easy to reach and very accommodating. The views from the windows in the back were breathtaking, it was as if the house was floating on water, surrounded by so many birds and amazing sunsets. This was the most well-stocked Airbnb we have stayed in—we took the kayaks and SUP boards from the shed, onto the dock, and into the sound, and paddled to our hearts content. The cottage was the perfect space for spending a rainy afternoon inside, while also being walkable to local shops and restaurants. The shells on the beaches of Avon were next-level...so many! We would love to come back again. Thank you Mckenzie and family for providing us such a lovely place to stay!

This was one of the best Arbnbs I've stayed in. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Cozy Country Suite. The cottage was spotless, cozy and perfectly equipped with everything I needed to enjoy a reunion with family. The beds were very comfortable and OHH my goodness the shower.... amazing.
The cottage is nestled in a peaceful, serene woods which added to its charm.
McKenzie was a very kind and super responsive host. Check in was easy. I can highly recommend for a perfectly comfortable cozy stay.

McKenzie's gorgeous house right on the water in the Outer Banks was exactly what we needed for our time away. We were left speechless by the gorgeous view from the living room and deck. The pictures didn't do it justice. We enjoyed kayaking in the sound, and walking on the beach. I even got in a few sunset workouts on the dock.
McKenzie was also extremely responsive. My texts were answered right away and she was always helpful. We would definitely come back.

The views are incredible and it’s the coziest little set up. We unfortunately had to cut our visit short due to a bad incoming storm. However, the hosts were understanding and worked with us. We hope to return for a longer visit when the weather is warmer.

We had a great stay! For us, it was just a one-night place to sleep on our journey. But we found ourselves wishing we could stay longer! Everything was clean and inviting, the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely book again! Thanks, MacKenzie!
